RE: 90% of Allied MSW's destroyed - AGAIN
Commentary for the last week.
OK no carriers lost a single CVE gone but the rest ok. My Carriers were getting very low on fighters and I had a follow on Corps still on ship so after I replenished Tinian I looped to the south and landed them on Woleia taking that lvl 2 AF as of tomorrow I will have 100+ P51's there readyt to start sweeping the Marianas
It meant Pauk has the opportuinity to reopen the Mariana AF's BUT I felt it was worth the risk.
My B29's have been resting and my Carriers have taken on a full complement of fighters (albeit a higher proportion of Wildcats than I would like)
Also my BB's have re armed.
Should I have kept the pressure on the Marianas probably but an AF in range is worth a lot only time will tell.

The key to my success so far has been Pauk decison to strip New Britain by allowing me to take SWPAC so easily Pauk made a grave strategic error - it gave me an invaluable B29 base and allowed me to take Emirau and Kavieng within a month I had advanced from Gili Gili to Woleai giving me an AF in range of the Marianas - I may still lose but that AF is literally priceless.
