Original WaW can it patch to WaWaWD?

I have the original WaW and noticed it has been discontinued, is it patchable to this version?

That is unfortunate since it is still the version you find at retail. A game finally get public and you get burned for buying it. Good job Griggsby. AWD should have been an expansion pack. For some reason it annoys me to find I purchased a game that is already unsupported. It will make me think twice about supporting these backwater game companies. Although I guess it is no worse track record than the mainstream come to think about it. Still annoys the hell out of me though. I didn't enjoy the game enough to buy it again for a few added enhancments.
