Scenario and CV Question

Post by SeminaryRidge »

I have been checking out some of the scenarios. Have a question about Scenario #17, "Decision in the South Pacific". Have checked the list of ship availability that arrive for the Americans. I notice that the list of ships available does not list any of the Essex class CVs, Indpendence CVLs, or British flattop Victorious. These are listed in some of the other scenarios but not in this one. Is this an oversight or will they appear?

Also, should not more Essex class CVs be available in each scenario list? Some of the carriers sunk in 42 (Lexington, Yorktown, Hornet, Wasp) should reappear as Essex class in 43 and possibley be available.

Oh, they're there all right. Try sorting the list by type. Essex, Bunker Hill, and Intrepid all make an appearance in scenario 17, as do a fair chunk of the Independence class CVL's.
I give approximately two fifths of a !#$% at any given time!
