EF Crash question

Post by mhissam »

I have played the original EF and EFII for many years. However, when I play the campaign game and start with an SS panzer battalion, I never got the opportunity to upgrade to anything other than divisional command, which I found to cumbersome to play. Even as late as June 1943, the game would jump from battalion command all the way to divisional command; and then the game crashed as soon as I hit July 1943. I just bought the matrix game version, has this bug been fixed? Any suggestions?

Back in the late 90's I did get the game to go from battalion command to regimental command once, but don't remember what patch that was and have never been able to recreate that promotion.

It has, yes. I would recommend holding off on playing a Dynamic Campaign until the 1.03 UPDATE is released, as you will have to restart it anyway.

The UPDATE is being finished up now and should be released to the public within the next few weeks.

Promotions are based on the amounts of experience points you acquire. The more you have, the more likely you are to be promoted.
