Gunny,

I am one of three new players in a gaming group from another wargame.  We all just picked up witp about 3 weeks ago and we're fairly hooked.  Three is a rather unbalanced number if you ask me, we could use a fourth!!

We have been kicking the idea around for a team campaign game in our near future.  If you're interested, reply and I can send you our info.

Hi,

I'm also a newbie with some theoretical expieriences from the forum here. It would be my first witp-pbem, I could send 3 -5 turns per week. Japan is ok for me.

If you are still interested please send a pm with your houserule proposals.

Cheers,

Z.

I was in at a time when being in the military was considered stupid because of the vietnam experience. Most of my leaders were right out of the rice paddies. Toured all over the Pacific, did a year on embassy duty, invaded Mindoro island in the Phillippines (loads of fun), stood guard at the white house and then said goodby. Looking at your ribbons you have been to the sand box a few times it seems.

The three stars is kind of misleading on the SW Asia Service Medal...

Everyone had at least one star. if you were there before a certain date, you got a star, if you were there between that date and another you got a star and if you were there after the second date you got a star. I was there before the first date through til after the second date so I got all three stars. Each were for an 'operation'. Operation Desert Shield got a star, Operation Desert Storm got a star and what we called Operation Desert Sweep got a star.

One question on your post...'invaded Mindoro Island'? When was this?
