Campaign Question

If you start say in the Convoys as the Luftwaffe, do you go right through to the end? Or do they stop? The manual says there are 4 starting points so it sounds like you go right to the end.

Hi rekm41, welcome to BOBII,

Any phase you start a campaign (example - convoy or eagle day) the campaign is played to the end (where you win or loose[:)].

I thought it was possible to be sacked before the end if you performed exceptionally bad - both as the Luftwaffe commander and RAF?
Or has this been taken out with the latest patch...? (haven't had much air-time with it yet).
I was once sacked as the RAF commander because I decided to completely ignore protection of the convoys in the convoy phase.
Thought I was being real clever saving my men and planes to give the Luftwaffe a nasty surprise when they started to turn against my radars and airfields, but apparently my strategy was politically unacceptable and I was sacked before the end of july after the convoys had taken a real beating.

LOL

ahhhh, thanks I needed that

I do see in the BDG file, you can turn on or off, Sacking of leaders

(from my verison, I see that it is turned on by Default)

Odd, I don't know how many I have protected, like a true fighter pilot, my thinking is, great, bait

as the LW, one of my missions I felt the best about, I flew detached, and caught a squadron of Spits and then a Squadron of Canes, as I was heading back to cover the Stukas on there retreat, seen the Convoy, and counted only 3 of the 15 ships, smoke and black dents in the water, where the other ships should of been

I think your idea may work, as long as the weather is bad, but once it clears up, you need to protect them a little bit :)
