this strike is no doubt in debt to my transferring the Hermes torpedo bombers into Malaya, as i did in my game with dive bomber, which cost him the Hyuga, who caught 3 fish[:D]

now i have an idea how Admiral Pye felt when he had to decide whether to recall the Saratoga and the Wake relief force, and, to a lesser extent, how the men of the relief force felt. btw theres also 4000 troops plus 16000 supplies in the immeadiate vicinity, including DMs and a force of PT boats, which is heading for Wake now, they should get there tomorrow. Also Sara herself is about 300 miles to the east. the air strikes were made by planes from the Enterprise and Lexington. The VMF stationed at Wake has been transferred to the carriers, since i believe that bruno will come back, and come back hard, ala Admiral Kajioka...

and i sure dont wanna be anywhere near Wake when the Death Star comes...
