opengl

Post by simmer »

Not to spend too much time on this David, but I need this utility as an aid in making uniforms. I cannot find opengl drivers for my video card Nvidia 7800GT. Is there something else I can do? Would the other uniform makers be having the same problem, or would this be resolved on all accounts with a new video card?

I don't even really know what the problem you're experiencing is. OpenGL is a fairly standard API that all graphics cards support. I'm able to run the viewer on all the machines I have with the standard drivers provided by the manufacture.

I dont know what happened, but it was after I found that the newest build was running choppy and I downloaded the latest 9X drivers I guess. But any way the viewer now shows odd multi color rendering and no uniform. It is also indicating that it is shown in standard mode. I wish I could upload it to you because it is driving me nuts. It definitely slows my progress with updating over 200 uniforms for the NCAA for the 2008 season.

??? Err.. are we talking about the same thing here? The little uniform viewer I posted a couple of years ago has no mode other than window and there are no dialogs built into the tool to tell the user anything. How is it telling you it's running in standard mode? The window caption reads "Maximum-Football: Player Viewer (Standard Resolution)" but it's always said that.

I guess I never paid attention to it because it I never questioned it. It is an amazing tool. But all the uniforms in the viewer appear to have multi color lines and swirls. It also looks like a prefab model.

yes, the viewer and model works fine. But uniform parts look like I'm looking at them through kaleidoscope.
