Starting Reb Capitol not Richmond

Post by lparkh »

Started the campaign game and my capitol is not in richmond! will cost me victory points to move it there. Why should I move it (from mississippi or alabama or wherever it starts). Seems safer if anything in the deep south.

Its historic. First CSA capital was Montgomery. BUT it proved too small and later they moved to Richmond.
Wait for some turns and your capital will go to Richmond without cost, and in addition the new capital will net you a nice amount of dollars per turn [8D]
Later you can decide to move the capital elsewhere (Charleston, New Orleans,,,) if Richmond is about to fall.
But it will cost you a lot, so try to defend Richmond at all costs!
Regards
