43 Defense Updated for 2.2

Post by Deft »

I have uploaded a 2.2 version of my basic 43 defense for a Pro Style 11 man league. It is just for the First Half at this point but I will have a separate one for the Second Half if a team wishes to run different gameplans for either situation. When you import it to your playbook, also import the profile groups so your defense will work correctly. I will be updating it but I thought it would be a good start for newbies.
A hint for offensive pass designs, move to point your guards and tackles to form a pocket because otherwise these plays will eat up pass plays with only Pass Block as their only command.

It is available at FBMax.com in the unsorted section.

Thanks, redwolf1!  I know everyone loves designing offensive plays. But without a solid public forum base defense its hard to gage the quality of your offensive plays.
Update:
I am working on the Second Half version including many more profiles and defenses to handle goal line 3+ WR sets.

Of course, they are all set up with an exploitable flaw only known to the playbook creator.

Sucker!

Wasnt that part of the evil scheme in the Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies?
I remember Jonathan Pryce(Elliot Carver) in front of his big wall of monitors discussing a 'flaw' in the new software that would require a fix that his companies would also provide.

I thought that was William Gates.

Maybe I was watching a different film.

That was 'Pirates of Silicon Valley' maybe?

Great movie, but there seemed to be a desire to make Jobs look like a jerk...unless it's what he is.
