Oh btw I just picked up "Sid Meiers Railroads" for $2.98 off of Amazon.com last week. ;)

Was it worth the $2.98?

Lol it hasn't arrived yet, but, from the reviews I ain't expectin much it's not the Sid Meier we used to know I'm pretty sure of that. Hopefully it's better than Railroady Tycoon III was that was so pitifully easy I deleted it and will probably never look back at it. Man what's with dumbing down games these days? What happened to those like Civilization in the 90's where you pulled your hair out trying to beat it. ;)

Hey BTW yall know CM:SF is like less than $5 now?!! yeah hahah it was sooooooo bad it shot down quickly. I can't even bring myself to spend $5 on it though I just don't like modern battles at all. But, sci-fi is fun now ain't that irony.
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

It's a pitty I bought CMSF during launch. I wasn't able to play it until patch 1.06 and 1.07. It's not so bad at the current state and look at the price now!

So did I , but only because of the subject matter. If it had been historical Korea, Arab-Israeli or Pacific WW2 I would have brought it day of release.

Yes, indeed it will!

We've been at the 'day to day' stage for almost two weeks now and it normally doesn't take that long. We're working on the final testing and balancing of the random campaign content and that has been taking longer than expected. As soon as we're happy with that, we will go gold and ship this out the door. There is nothing else holding up the release at this point, boxes and printed manuals are ready, everything else is working fine.

so, not that at this point in the sales / year for me I can spend alot of time at anything else right now, so I am getting this game at some futurer date..

BUT why where we told it was ready exceipt for the manuals? To me this is decietful, yet perhaps it is only some odd miscommunication. No worries like I said, I am now out of the winter slow down into the "too busy to know wht hit me" but I am curious why we where all told the product was ready save the manual, or  was it the last minute changes? that must be it.. which seems to be a pretty big changes but no worries, like I said just curious.
I am VERY excited for this in the next winter, so as long as it comes out by thanksgiving in the US I will be playing along with some other toys over the winter... thanks again for making great games guys....

Hi Freeboy,

I don't ever remember reading about the manual as the cause of the slow down.

Hey, no deceit intended, I think that must have been a miscommunication. As far as I know, I've been saying for a while that we've been busy adding more content and polishing. I expected us to be done with that by the time the manuals were done being printed, but we decided that we needed a little extra time to make sure everything was as we wanted it.

We could have released two weeks ago, but we delayed to make sure a few rough edges were squared away.

We're talking a matter of days here. I was really confident we would be releasing during March. Right now I'm still aiming to "go gold" in March, but it's been a bit of a moving target. There is nothing here that would make us slip further than another week in release date, as far as I can see, but please realize these are best guesses based on what I'm seeing behind the scenes.

It's gotten very quiet on this forum all of a sudden.

Not sure if that's "no news is good news"...or not!

Well it's kinda disappointing and disheartning when you are first told BEFORE the MIDDLE of March and then later told BEFORE the END of March and then later told DURING MARCH and then told within a matter of days and then...well you know how Erik tells it. I just more or less gave up on the hype of release. I got that excited moment, but, now, it's just like any other game release when it comes it comes no biggie. The letdown has already had it's effects on me anyway and I would imagine on others as well.

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven

A time to rend, a time to sew
A time of peace, a time of war
A time to go gold, I swear it's not too late!
All your Tanks are Belong to us!

It happened with the JTC update Ravinhood. We where rapping it up for a March release, I decided to look at a set of oob's that we hadn't checked and sure enough there was a big problem plus the boss had other commitments to fill so it got delayed [:(]  But I also feel your pain. I plan on buying Kharkov when it is released [:)]
