one of my successful air attacks. He has been using his airforce offensively. But every turn i'm moving my AF to another city so he can't guess where i am and crush me. He has about 30 planes i don't want any part of that.

But every bit of readiness i eat away i am happy with.

In china the chinese have hundreds of units so i'm hoping i can hold him off. THe japan keep pushing me back one hex up by mao but i have a 350PP unit with front line RIFLE II troops and about 30 MG and 30 Mortars it will be a force to be reconned with.

Landed a semi strong invasion force in spain and then pointed all production in the us to it with INfantry i have to hold this. I also for some reason declared war on vichy hoping it would open them upto me but i guess it didn't so now i have let the mainland german army get through vichy now...great!

I open my turn and the numbers look good but turn to horror when i see i've made a major strategic error. I hope it doesn't spell the end for me now.

If the russians have anythign to be hopeful about its my kick ass airforce he can't seem to track down. I wrecked an arty unite and put a dent into heinz guderians personal division.

Loook with me in horror as i misjudged the mobility of the german army and they have started a major envelopment thank god i invest in heavy trains becuase wihtout that i wouldnt have been able to reposition the bukl of my forces. I had to pull alot back off the line in the north to free up units to go south. It still probably won't be enough to stop him now but with a little guile and a tempered sword i should be able to launch a successful counter attack come xmas. i have 3 major med tank III units in the back near omsk that i will bring up before winter and i will try to use them to slice off that over extended section. Hopefully my blunter and my opponents perceieved great strategy can cause over confident which will let me proceed with a great counter stroke.

Coupled with my landing in spain i hope that it is enough to delay the german war machine.

Well the landing took him by suprise and we were able to quickly reinforce the peninsula. Bad news the germans got vichy france fleet *sigh* i can't win sometimes. I left 6 Tank divisions with 3 tanks each in england to protect..

I also dropped a paratrooper right on a german production city. I built an HQ and am going to churn out 50 infantry. Now thats not alot but if i can start capturing those factories around it i might cause a little havoc to the war machine in the USSR. that is the real goal just to buy the soviets some time for their lines to firm up. I'm 2-3 months out from winter and if we get a lucky roll and get winter early we're going to be especially in a good position for fighting the germans out of the ussr.

Again my divebombers wrecked havoc on his arty and some of his tanks. His artillary is crazy powerful. I'm glad it's getting blown away. His heavy tank also looks like its readiness is really low. I hope that i can effect enough to delay them 1 hex..1 turn...thats all.

Good news i upgraded to Divebomber II! so next turn it will get even nicer hopefully

Why your opponent doesn´t use his 30 planes to stop your divebomber party ??
Even you change the locations he should be able to find your planes.
Your divebomber attacks are too expensive for him to simply ignore them.

I was able to land more infantry units behind the enemys defense in spain so his position is now untendable and he should pull back. Hopefully

Japans prowling around i've redirected all production in the area to java area with some handy carrier bombers to take out any pesky transports.

SOviets again losing a ton of stuff but at least its slowing down the thrust into my soft gooey center.

Again my air force is doing the gods work trying to help destroy all mechnized infantry. I'm hoping that next turn sept we get an early winter man that would be such a freaking life saver. I've formed an army in baku that should be able to thrust out and severe my opponents supply lines if he pushes too fast but now he's slowed it down and is pushing at a more reasonable pace all the while i build up reserves and train new infantry.

@seille yea i know but don't tell him that. He's using his planes on my troops trying to drive over the NW most river to push towards leningrad but i have it very well secured. I also had 4 tank destroyer II's there and he seems to have moved his tanks away. And he's coming up the center now which is fine with me. It keeps him away from moscow.

The chinese are taking a pounding up north and i think mao's city will fall. Once outside of there i have a ton of infantry so i think i can hold the inner circle we shall see. 2 more turns and the japs have to decalre on the us or lose it so i'll get myself a ton of new production which will be very good for my bridgehead in spain. The more i think about it the more spain really is ideal i'm glad spain went over. I can build up there and push my way back into france. And with the paratroopers i keep making i can keep him forced to garrison each city with 100PP to fight off my random paratroop units. He doesn't dare attack my airfields in londong i have 50+ flak and 20 80XP fighters guarding it so i'm glad he's stayed away. Though If we don't make a dent in germanys planning fast we're going to lose russia. I think he's just using the minimum forces he can in the spanish mountains to try and hold us off until he can deliver the kill blow to the USSR before wheeling around and hitting UK and going after the US.

Ouch madrid has some heavy units. This turn i also saw the german navy sally forth from gibraltor. 8 BB's since i can only build subs right now to keep production up i have switched to my opponents tactics of building carrier air with an attack of 6000 on ships i hope to be able to do to his fleet as he did to mine. I landed more units in northen spain i also used my bombers to blow all the bridges to southern france so the only path is through the road through marsailles. I landed a unit in Western france to cut off any reinforcements into space. well not to cut them off but to buy me some time to capture madrid. Once my opponent pulls his troops down to hit spain i'm going to land in Amsterdamn area with 6 tank and 3 infantry divisions. It might not be this turn or next becuase my opponent is playing it cool. But i have to think as i build up my bridge head mor eand more that he will have to pull forces from the USSR to try to expel me.

This turn the enemy pushed closer to baku. But instead of the crazy pushes forward this turn he stopped and consolidated. He built some bridges since i had blown them all perhaps he had outrun his supply. Next turn is november and i just pray its winter. It will give me a chance to fix my wrongs in the south of russia.

I also have to think my opponent slowed down becuase he has had to send reinforcements to spain to attack the west. We shall see more to come soon.
