It appears we have a major problem getting an EOS test of any length: the first ran afoul of professional time demands on the tester - and this one ended before the first turn was executed - curiously over settings that can not be changed once a game is begun. Nevertheless - it was a most useful indication of what might happen when humans generate opposing moves - far more than an AI vs AI test does - and it is published here to generate some sense of what to expect for players making initial moves. It appears the Alllied player removed all the fighters and bombers able to fly from Pearl Harbor - and a few other imaginative and creative moves - most of which worked. For reasons unclear the hard code that requires Kates to use 800 kg bombs in port attacks 5 times in 6 failed totally - and only torpedoes were used. And there are two Buffalo pilots at Singapore who should be recruited by elite units: they engaged one large and one medium air strike - penetrated enemy escorts - and shot down bombers - without ever being damaged - about all you can ask of a fighter pilot and his wingman.
IF the password is provided I will try to find a way to continue this test - the first with current files - and a fine one - replete with problems (like excessive Kate losses due to coming in too low - in a situation that requires LOW losses for the campaign to succeed):
