When I was in that publishers web site the other night, I though the help screen said there was away to turn some of those things off. Let me look again.

i am guessing that it put critical parts of the software into quarantine... they tend to "decontaminate" the file first - i.e. - make it inactive, which kills the program. This is what AVG did a couple of months back.

If you decide to go with another antiviral (such as AVG download) be sure to download it BEFORE removing your old one.

Turn to Niceguy!

i sent TWO turns - make sure to use the second one... the Chinese reset their orders yet again [:@] [:@] [:@] [:@] and i caught it (i have been checking thoroughly, but this one was so outrageous and sneaky i didn't notice it until just after i sent the turn...)

Once again, it could have resulted in a really bad situation... and i have no explanation this time why it could have possibly happened. [X(] [8|] [&:]

I ended up uninstalling that trend micro-crap and reinstalling symantic antivirus, which I was using a couple of years ago.  After that, everything was fine.  Go figure.

Well, it sounds like P-cillin or whatever it was called was blocking WITP (or portion) as a virus/worm or whatever... fortunately, it did not "sterilize" it.

Once it was removed, WITP could work just fine.

It works fine.  I just ran our last combat replay.  That's not to say the combat replay went the way I had hoped. [8|]
