scenario files

I am new here so hello!
I have downloaded a scenario and have been told that all I need
to do is to unzip it into my HCE folder.If I get other senarios there will
be quite a lot of files there. I note that some one was informed that the
scenarios could be kept in a folder(say) Scenarios which seems a lot
neater.Where would I put such a folder and how will I point the game to it?

You should have no problems creating a folder called Scenarios and keeping your scenario files there. (I do just that). The only thing you need to keep in mind is that scenarios are matched to their battlesets by their filename extensions. This is explained fully here:
