Lol, those Mexicans do the darndest things! Well, good thing that garrison is now up, since they didn't kill everything. It will delay them long enough for the main event to begin.

I forgot to mention this, but my first shipment of Tigers (36) came with Das Reich (oh yeah!), and they will enter general prod. soon.

Turn 14 finished, there are upseting silence on all fronts except Caribbean and Canada.
RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Alright then, it's turn 21, and I'm sure you're all dying for an update (anyone?)!
Major lines near the Northern Appalachian Mts. and Detroit.
On the Canadian border near Duluth a U.S. and a Canadian infantry division are being mauled.
My Mexicans are fleeing before the onslaught of American armoured troops.
In the deep South, my soldiers are driving forward. I have already captured Cuba, and Brazilian troops are in Mexico. Hopefully, my plot to destroy his Atlantic navy in one fell stroke will succeed. Yes, it did. Now, Jakalo, you might consider this to be the cheapest s**t you have ever seen in your life, but it's your own fault for keeping all your ships in a port. [:'(]

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
In the bridge over the Great Lakes that connects Canada to Michigan, I defeated a garrisonand charged forward, although I lost 800 men and 8 tanks. They only lost 600 men, but atrocious amounts of equipment were left behind in the retreat.
After destroying their Navy near Houston, I tried to attack the city itself with Brazilians, but I failed. A thousand men lost, although the garrison did lose a battalion and the dive bombers that supported were crippled.
We shall see the result of my gambles soon, at any rate.

Well, I got a supply boost due to the destruction of the enemy's Atlantic Navy. Now, I will call upon the Japanese to do their part. His Golden Gate is undefended, all his men gone to fight in Ohio.
This will cause Soviet intervention though.
My supplies will dip, but that boost will help. The worst part may be the withdrawal of Das Reich, so I'm going to have it spearhead my attacks. If I cant have it, no one can.
After the failure of Operation Houston, I had to withdraw my Brazilians, who were deserting by the hundreds due to lack of supply.
An attack near Lake Erie gave the enemy defenders over a thousand losses, with me losing 3 tanks and 200 men. However, the units are now in a very compromising position.
Another attack resulted in almost equal losses of men and planes, although the Americans lost more equipment.
In Texas, the last of my Expeditonary force is being mopped up. In Mexico, the 3rd Mexican Army is beating up a U.S. tank unit.

Abot Navy: Yeah, I might have kept them in other port if only I had secure one. But I missed my chance to evacuate them when the channel still was in my hands.
RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Sneaky sneaky. He sent out a bunch of paratroopers into Canada to cut my supplies. And he tried to destroy my lines near Detroit, but they held. I am sending reserves to blast the paratroopers. It would have been smarter to just surround my positions outright.
I am very annoyed, as the withdrawals begin next turn and he has somehow brought up heavy reinforcements. I did not know he had this many men!
At Chattanooga, he has brought so many men that circumstances have forced me to assault the city. If I fail, the entire army group center could be destroyed.

Any chance for a mini-map picture, or any other picture of the whole front?
To repeat history in a game is to be predictable.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Ok, things aren't going so well. Massive Japanese reinforcements in the West with apparently a couple of National Guards around to fight them, but the Germans have started to pull back their divisions.
In the Northeast, things are critical as my line near Detroit runs low on supplies. However, most of the paras have been surrounded. In my foolishness, I forgot to remove some aircraft stationed in the area, and they have lost about 60 aircraft? More? Once again, I will have the withdrawing units spearhead my assaults, in this case a Romanian army and a German inf. division.
In the South, a dangerous stalemate is in place. Hopefully he has no more men to send...

Meh...and a great tank battle near the Great Lakes bridge. 40 of my tanks, 65 of his. He keeps setting units on local reserve.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Henceforth I shall approach this AAR in a professional and organised manner.
Turn 27
Reinforcements: A garrison in New Orleans and a regiment of the 8th Japanese Inf. Rg. in San Francisco.
Withdrawals: Das Reich.
Special: My supply has been halved. AS is 40 - 51 in U.S. favor. Also, it seems my partner activated Soviet theater options after the the Soviet intervention. I suspect it is an oversight on the scenario maker's part. I have forgiven him for his treachery, though. I currently have 92 out of 312 VPs.
Fronts: Mexico: Pretty quiet over here. A combined assault on Zapatista rebels begins.
West: Jakalo sends up his Marine division from LA to try to stop me.
South: A task force has been devastated and the remnants are fleeing to New Orleans, which is thankfully a supply point. Recon reports tell of a large entrained enemy force in Knoxville that has been shipped there from the Midwest. A good portion of an armoured division and most of a mountain infantry division are there.
The army that destroyed my task force is in a good position to threaten much of the south, so I am sending the 111th Division to support. See picture for details. Elsewhere, troops are about to break through the Appalachians into...Kentucky?
Canada: Paras still need to be mopped up. The rescued forces are in pretty bad shape.
Ohio: Some guerrilas near NY are troubling me, so I have sent an artillery regiment and a divisional HQ to combat them. An attack to straighten out the line near Pittsburgh is in order.

Some highlights - losses were annoying, but I did manage to destroy an entire unit of Zapatistas, and some Marines were smashed outside of San Francisco.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Turn 28
Reinforcements: The 100th Inf. Division and units of the 11th Pz.; 2nd C.S.A reconstituted.
Withdrawals: None.
Special: VP: 95 - marginal victory
AS-41 to 52 in opponent's favor
Loss Penalty: US-34
Axis-14
Fronts: Mexico: A second Zapatista unit is surrounded. Jakalo appears to have forgotten that he has units down here.
Ohio: Some guerrilas have been surrounded near NY. About half of my AGN will perform an assault on a stack containing the 2nd Marine Division and tanks of the 4th Armor. Advisors say that there is a fair chance of victory.
Canada: I have met his main reinforcements on the land bridge near Winnipeg. An RR, 2 arties, 3 infantry and a reserve with some odd jobs mixed in. Near the Detroit line, he continues to make probing attacks against my defenses, but they are nowhere near as damaging as when my forces had no supplies. The final paras are being destroyed -in my opinion, it has taken far too long.
South: Pretty bad. I am fortifying New Orleans against attack, as the enemy has sent a sizeable detachment from the task force that destroyed my force near the Mississippi. I can see another mechanized division en route to my army near Chattanooga, and a few probing units from the larger force to the west. That entrained mountain infantry division is nowhere in sight, but I see a couple of units from the entrained mechanized division - they were attacking my garrison in the area, but now my massive reinforcements should help hold them back. Farther north, my units are pushing farther into Kentucky. He is not sending much support in the area, and the Americans there are constantly on the run.
West: Further attacks in an attempt to pocket 3/4 of the units near my San Fran beachhead. Also, I am sending up a small German naval unit (Panama...) and the 118th Japanese Inf Reg. to attack Seattle, which will hopefully fall before my onslaught.
This picture shows much of America's eastern half.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
I can't make a full report for this Turn (30) but I am going to have to abandon much of the south, including Louisiana, most of Georgia, and Florida. New Orleans will have to remain as the American Leningrad. Repeat, the situation is dire, and we are in full retreat. Conquest is no longer possible. I will soon be forced to maintain my gains against his armies. Only the Japanese in the West and Army Group Ohio can advance now.
