Currently 3

2 grand Campaigns as Allies
1 Guadalcanal as Allies

1 grand Campaign with Bruno will be on hold, sumwat, because hes getting bad weather, and cuz hes moving in May

however i may look for another Allied Grand Camp with NikMod and maybe another stab at IJN Grand

The SBDs were all dropping 1000 pounders

4 ships are already on the bottom, and Fitch and Spruance have altered corse to the west to RV with Craces cruisers and destroyers, which will augment the carrier's screens further, with Chicago joining the Yorktowns force, and Craces surface force sailing with them

Enterprise and Hornet have been reorganised at Pearl in 2 task forces, with Halsey commanding Enterprise and Mitscher commanding Hornet

im anticipating a major move in the SoPac by tigercub and i want them, and Saratoga, and she will arrive soon, to head down there

hawaii is being reinforced

i believe its better to have the carriers together, in seperate forces of course, than have them split up and an ocean away and not able to support each other

at the very least ill send Enterprise down there and leave Sara and Hornet at Pearl for the time being

ive transferred additional bombers into Kohima, and they shall hit Mandalay hard tomorrow, hopefully

ive begun organising my convoys, and begun conversions for fleet auxiliaries

i also plan to take another engineering regt to Midway, it shall become a major base for my fleet boats

as will Darwin, im sending sub tender Otus up there with the convoys heading for PM

speaking of PM ive flown the 2 B17 groups that werwe at Pearl down to PM. and since recon has spotted Imperial tranpsports and warships heading into the Coral Sea, they should hopefully make their presence, and that of the other bombers there, felt tomorrow...

RE: Rabaul hit again

Post by marky »

Recon reveals that there are very few ships left at Rabaul, only about 5, so tomorrows raid is cancelled

the 41st Division arrives at PM tomorrow, and im making plans to land troops at Gili Gili, and to strengthen my positions in the SoPac, at Noumea and Luganville

a massive fuel and supply convoy is loading at Frisco, and it will head for Pearl, RV with Enterprise and from there, proceed to the SoPac, possibly to be followed by Hornet or Saratoga

also, a troop convoy is nearly underway for Midway, carrying the 24th Division

the supply convoy will arrive there in several days

another raid on Mandalay is scheduled for tomorrow, all bombers will take part

im sending several boats to Tarawa and Makin, for some recon, for the possibility of a landing there

Silly tiger, sending bombers unescorted into PM

ill have an even nicer suprise for him next time, ive transferred in about 40 fighters!

S39 and S41 were lost today, as i sent them into shallow water, forgetting this is NikMod

[X(][X(][X(][X(]

*makes bubbling/drowning/sinking sound*

To the families of S39 and S41, we regret to inform u ur loved ones were drowned and blown up by "death" charges because the supreme commander forgot that subs shouldnt be sent into shallow hexes this time...

[:D]

lesson learned!!!

more naval activity has been spotted, IJN ships moving into the Coral Sea

Spruance and Fitch had been heading for Noumea, but im starting them north again

oh, due to the recent raid on Darwin, i dont really feel like basing subs and a valuable AR there, thus theylle be based at Townsville

speaking of auxiliarues, ive begun conversions for about 60 of them, all types except AEs since they wont be useful till much later
