I have the same problem. I wish I could fix it, but don't know. Often when I go to the play calling screen, the volume cut for a couple of seconds. I understand when the home offense is on the field it should be quiet should be, but there are normally morons who don't know the difference in a field goal and extra point. So I would like there always to be crowd noise. Sometimes you feel kind of alone when its quiet.

There is constant crowd noise, it's just reduced to a low murmur. The reason being is that when the home team is on offense, the home crowd keeps relatively quiet, cheering loudly only when there's a play made. When the home team is on offense, the home team make a heck of a lot more noise so that the away team offense must fight against the noise. This is not something you can edit.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you turn up certain noises. Like when you want it to be more even like a Super Bowl or game on neither teams home field?

Thanks for the Reply,

Ahhh its to bad we cant edit. I remember the earlier releases of MaxFB the Home offense crowd was turn down while the Defense crowd was turn up like in real games.
It does feel a little lonelier now. But hey no problem:)

I just checked it and i put the volume all the way up. No offense crowd like on earlier release just the defense and all the hard hitting effects.

Yep. This is what I'm getting. There is also a gradual increase in the crowd noise when a player looks like he's about to break one. Nice touch. Then it turns into a roar when he gets a first down.

I've edited many of the crowd noises to turn the level down, such as the collision noises. However, the increase or decrease of home cheer volume when the home team switches from offense to defense can't be edited effectively.

There is still so much that can be done to customize the sound files with a little know how and imagination.

For example, during the championship game I switch out the boos and replace them with the crowd cheer to get the neutral field effect. This way the designated away team's fans cheer when they get first downs and score. I'm also going to switch out the new "defense, defense" cheer with a silent file to maintain the neutral atmosphere.

You could add cannon blasts to touchdowns. You could replace the "defense, defense" cheer with the tomahawk chop, ala Florida State or any other wav file. You could create a sound package for each team and switch it out depending on the home team. For example, you can still find most college fight songs as wav files. Just mix those in with the touchdown cheer or first down cheer and create a college atmosphere.

Just some ideas.
