Nope. Last I knew , assumptions don't inform you. Let's let this one go, it's too nice a day , and scabs that are picked at don't heal well and may leave scars. [:)]

I doubt my recommendations would be very helpful...I'm mostly a home-brewed plum brandy guy.

(When I drink, I drink to kill [:D])

BTW, I take back my previous post...it should be:

Believe it or not, he started a twice/week hockey camp this week, for the next 5 weeks. [:D] On next Monday, he adds a 3rd day, and we're only 6 weeks from tryouts for next season's travel teams! [X(][8|]

We very much enjoyed our 3 week break from hockey season. [:D]

We're all doing great! I'm buying plane tickets today for our vacation this summer to the Turks and Caicos Islands. [8D]

How are you guys?

We are doing well, Lou will be going to a course in Charlottesville VA at UVA, then we can take a week's vaction (finally).
The bad news is we need to do our family responsibility thing (read the Christmas visit that her Admiral canexed), so we will be spending it with family in Maine. (The up side is several good brewpubs, really good seafood and the tourist aren't there yet!). Want anything from Maine? [:D]

I'll get Lou to eat the bugs for you. As a young college student , I went lobstering once. Anything that makes a crab look like a fussy eater is not for me. There's a reason back home we called it "a bug". Those of us who really despise them , call them "sea-roaches". And I'll post in the Thread. Some. We don't need another Faber ( although I think Onime is willing to take on the job).[:D]

Two absolute musts for me re eating seafood: I can identify it and it tastes good. That's about it.

Considering all of the raw sewage dumped in the ocean, whale shite, Godzilla, shipwrecks, oil spills, etc. in the sea, scavenging is a minor offense. Besides, lobsters mostly eat live food. Mmmmm . . . . lobster. . . .

You can have mine. I've always fiound that boiled (actually steamed) lobster , the traditional way of cooking it , tasted mostly of seawater. A baked stuffed , or lobster newburg on the other hand , is realatively tasty. I know that it's a weird opinion, especially since two of my favoritite foods are sushi and sashimi. But there you have it. (I never claimed to be normal).[:D]

Speaking of seafood... I'm heading down to the Gulf tomorrow to celebrate my birthday - 4/18. I am going to be loading up on fried shrimp, fried crab claws, and plenty of beer for 4 days.

Heading to Mobile first to spend Fri/Sat visiting friends and going to the USS Alabama. Saturday will be the Bama. Then heading over to Pensacola to hit the beach as well as some of our favorite seafood restaurants.[8D]
