Online Scenario Question

Post by Jagdschlager »

I just played my first online game -- very cool! A BIG thanks to the entire Matrix staff ... I'm ready to buy whenever you're ready to sell me something :-)

Here's my problem: the first time I tried to set up a game with my friend, I chose "Ramelle -- Movie Version". He joined the game but was then informed that he didn't have that scenario file. It turns out that he has the scenario but it's installed in a different directory than mine ...

Is it necessary that both players have the game installed in the exact same directory ("C:\SPWAW" in my case) in order for a pre-designed scenario to be played online? Any thoughts?

"Gee, Dad -- you must have jumped this thing about fifty yards."

"That's nothing to be proud of, Rusty (... fifty yards)."

It "matches" by scenario number. Did you or your friend change the slot of the scenario?

I was the so-called "friend." Image We will try it again, but we had some trouble getting the game started in the first place, so maybe it was just one of the problems we were having.
