Auto PBEM program

Post by Supervisor »

Does anyone have or even use the auto PBEM program that was out a while back? Does it even work anymore, and will work with Win XP. Or does everyone just compress the files manually and send them that way. It has been since the parting of the Red Sea since I played a PBEM out. I usually just play online or solitare, or play one turn of a PBEM for debugging purposes. Does the \email folder even get used anymore or just slots 3-12 of the \save folder? Thanks

I use the PBEM program. Love it. It helps keeping games organized, puts everything in one place and unpacks into the email folder painlessly. I give it to big toes up!

Yeah, I'd like to know where it is too. I can't find it on Matrixgames, and not on The Armor Site either (which is really rare) :(

Gman, the PBEM games ends up in the \email folder. At least that's where I get the files to zip, and it's there I unpack the files sent to me.

I did the download when I first picked up SPWaW before Matrix redid the site design. I still have the original zip file. If some one wants to post it on a web site I'll be more than happy to send it over to them. That way it is in a single location once again. :D

Being it's been on the Matrix servers all along, I requested that it be added back to the downloads under Misc, because it support about 10 other games now including SPWAW, with the capability of more to included UV and almost anything else that uses a PBEM style of gaming.
