quick question

In the T/F screen, the one showing the ships listed in the TF, there is a columb called OPS. I cant find mention of it in the manual - could someone tell me what it means?

It says in the manual that each unit gets 1000 points each turn for operations. So I think (but I could be wrong) that this is how many of these points a re available. Does anyone have moe info, cause this is a bit vague to me?

If I'm not mistaken the number under the OPS heading show how many points have been spent.

It's on page 58, section 9.17, Operation Points. Seems pretty clear from the example they give there. Next time you refuel a task force, watch the operation points change from 0 to some higher number for all the ships involved.
