New Orleans indeed have been American Leningrad so far as a matter of fact. Here is the turn 28 overview.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
I am so screwed. I'm gonna have to garrison San Francisco with the Japs and have the Germans make a fortified stronghold around (location withheld for security purposes). If I cant win, maybe I can outlast him with a draw.
Although even if my idea works, he would have to take immense losses and receive double his current loss penalties for me to draw. Also, I would need to hold out for 40 more turns until the end of the game.
Good thing I don't answer to a higher authority, because otherwise Hitler would have already had me killed.
Yeah, and Mexico is probably screwed too. I knew I shouldn't have activated Belize...

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Although situation does not seem that bad (or should I say good) from my point of view it`s clear that Americans are gaining upper hand at last and are ready to free their land from German once and for all.
Axis army in Central Canada is cut off in two places and will hopefully be decimated some time after to free troops for the West. Japan advance is halted but they will stay there, at least for a while.
Mexico is left almost empty as he is (apparently) trying to crush Zapatista rebels and troops from Belize.
So called army group Ohaio is still advancing and is great threat.
Here is turn 28-31. It may give away some of my intentions but he is probably suspecting them anyway.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Small overview of situation. Here is turn 28-34. As Desert have already mentioned he is on full retreat on all except Mexican front. I on the other hand am trying to not let him go.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
In the west Japanese advance has been reversed and I should be able to eliminate them in a few turns, hopefully.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
In the North my brave and daring soldiers swam over the major river and are currently blocking his escape (to be defeated soon, but that is a minor concern as they are being cut off near the Great lakes.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Ok, here it is!
Turn 39
Reinforcements: Recon hodge-podge and a fighter JG.
Withdrawals: Last one was the Hungarian Army turn 38.
Special: My supply went up slightly when he inexplicably lost some carriers a few turns ago. My Loss Penalty tripled in the last 10 turns, as many divisions have been surrounded and obliterated due to my poor planning in the retreat. He has more AS, but I kill at least 10 of his planes for every one I lose. Speaking of planes, soon my continental air fields will be overrun and I will have to pull back my aircraft. Some might have to go south to Cuba and Mexico.
Fronts
South: Destroyed. I might pull out a piece of a tank unit if I'm lucky. Charleston will make a stand. Florida still strong. A C.S.A unit reconned there and I am trying to get it to a place where I can cause some havoc.
Mexico: He is trying to surround Mexico City - good thing it is a supply point. He would be obliterated if he tried to attack my fortified stack. But I don't want to go offensive because he might pull something.
Canada: Survivors have put up a good show and are trying to retreat through the woods to Quebec. The Hungarians provided rearguard, but they withdrew so now I am using a Vichy unit to cover me.
West: They are quite fortified but evaps due to lack of retreat space are becoming a problem.
New York: Yeahhhhhh! Festung New York will teach him a little respect! Two words, Jakalo - Molon labe!
PS: Jakalo doesn't have as many units as you think - antsy pantsy...

West: Seattle is mine.
South: I tried to break into Norfolk with a few last units but a massive air attack stopped them. I kill massive numbers of planes like that, but the units end up stranded.

RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
thanks for the hint!! I am giving the other america invasion scenario a shot. Might be over my head. Cheers. Great AAR btw.
RE: The REAL Invasion Amerika AAR
Surprisingly Germans are retreating even from Washington D.C. which I suspected to be one of the strongholds because 30 VP and defensive line around it. That`s good for me and Washington is captured in this turn. Quite a bargain of his units are encircled as he retreats but majority escapes to Festung New York.
I`m pleased to see that as I would have had hard times to defeat somewhat superior Axis units executing elastic defense tactic. Of course, well manned and fortified defensive line is very very hard to overcome but due to force limit in province I have to defeat his forces only ONCE and they will evaporate because of lack of retreating space. Unfortunately artillery works as ordinary units due to size of scenario.
