v1.020 made official?

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

The .exe offered in the article seems to be the same as Beta Patch v1.020 - which is a little weird since there have been several later testing versions. I guess they just wanted not to lose touch with the beta version everyone uses anyway.

Wanderinghead is working on improving the game but real life gets in the way, latest version for testing he sent me was dated March 8th 2008.
So we must be patient there's more on the way [:)]

10-13 hour work days 7 days a week consumed me for a while. I don't think I will get back into supporting many new features in game updates like I have in the past, but it is definitely my intention to complete this next patch. I've already done almost all of the work. I hope to come online now enough to finish it shortly, maybe 2 weeks (plus time for Keith, plus time for Matrix).
