cant load real players

been away from the game for awhile fellas...............d'loaded the 1.70 setup and the 1.71 patch.............am trying to add some players from the 'new & improved' lahman 5.5 that shaun has up in another post to my all time greats psa file......................I get an exception if I try and load indiv. players and if I try and add the whole 2007 Ariz. roster it will go through the loading players up to 100% but then I get import complete, 0 imported, 41 exceptions........whats up???? Are you perhaps trying to import players who have already been imported into the assn? If so, you'll need to check the box that allows duplicate players. If that's not the reason, I have no idea what the cause would be.

did the dup player box and now I get a runtime error '3709-the search key was not found in any record'

actually it generates 2 errors.........the first one listed above followed by 'RTE 97-can not call friend function which is not an instance of defining class'.................[&:] WTH gives?????

Sounds like your Lahman dB might be in the wrong location or in the wrong folder. I'm not near the program right now, so I can't offer any better advice. By posting in this Tech Support area, you should get a satisfactory answer soon.
