Matrix site SLOW!

All of the main pages on the site take 3 to 5 minutes to load. [>:] Once I get into the site, such as the forums, it reverts to normal, fast, speed.

Using IE7 on a cable modem (comcast). No other sites exhibit this problem. I have flushed all cookies, temp files, etc, but does not help. [&:] I am using CA firewall software.

Any ideas?
