RCG bug or I don't understand how it works !

I just tried the RCG, and even read the small doc : problem I have is that when I "generate campaign", it calls up the RBG and ... nothing happens, progress of campaign generation stays at 0, process CPU usage is 0%... The RBG seems to be waiting for my input and doesn't "autowork".
If I click on "generate Battle" it doesn't generate the wanted battle, only a normal random battle, then I have a RCG error saying it didn't generate the battle it should (ie the 1st battle of the campaign).

No, it should automatically proceed, though sometimes I've had it ask permission to run the RBG if running it for the first time on a system but after that it works fine. You had some issues with the other tools earlier, right? Were those entirely resolved?

Yes my problems with the hta tools have been solved (thanks to your crew !) - it was my fault, I didn't properly associate hta with the hta engine,  I put IE  itself at first instead - fun thing is that it "nearly" worked, I had screens et al but some errors.

But now the RBG works when I use it alone (I did create some battles sucessfully), it seems that it is not "piloted" by the RCG as it should.

Could you try this on your laptop (or other computer) and see if it works there.

As usual ... it works on the laptop ! [8|]
But now I don't see why it's different, both machines have a correct file association hta to mshta.exe app. But on the laptop the RBG is called "silently' (I don't see it open, it stays reduced), and the campaign creation progresses, otoh on my desktop RCG launches the RBG in a visible window, then it stops.

Ok try this

Pull up a command prompt

cd into your kharkov directory

in the command prompt type "PzCRBg.hta"

This should bring up the randam battle generator, if it doesn't something is wrong and we can go from there.

It works, the RBG launches normally from command prompt. A weird thing is that it's is quite long to load, I  have a "white" pzCRBg window for 10sec or so (on the laptop it's nearly instantaneous - the laptop is somewhat faster but not that much). But well eventually the RBG launches and work correctly.
