Blue Screen - COTA crashes comp

Recently purchased COTA, and I have been unable to get into it because when the action heats up, my computer crashes to a blue screen and reports a BAD_POOL_HEADER. This has happened both before and after I patched the game, while playing both tutorial scenarios and the Malta scenario. As stated before, there is no exact time in any of the scenarios that the crash occurs, but it does seem like once the computer opponent is engaged and a little while into the fighting, the crash happens. I can run more graphic-intensive games, and other strategy games by Matrix and others without the crash occurring, so it seems as if COTA is the only app that is causing this problem. I could not find a similar topic on the forum, so I put this in a new thread in hopes of getting some user assistance, thanks.

I'll check it out and see if I can identify anything that could be an issue. This happens extremely rarely. Invariably the main cause of these blue screens of death are sound cards/drivers. I strongly recommend you update the driver of your sound card and see if the problem persists. Make sure you download the driver from the manufacturer direct. Please let me know you get on.

Well, your little suggestion was what fixed the problem. I had already updated all my drivers, except for my sound card driver. I do not know what was wrong with it, but once I upgraded it, the game ran fine. If you still want the DXdiag for your reference, let me know, I ran it prior to updating the driver and everything worked fine.
