How were you able to get the field to have double textured grass? It looks very good!

Fantastic!!
I can almost hear those Georgia fans barking & hollering "Hunker down you big hairy DAWGS". Larry Munson on the Georgia radio network might be saying "There goes Herschel, there goes Herschel!". That's Herschel Walker of course. I think I may be hearing the Redcoat band playing "Glory to Old Georgia".

The stadium is actually the Spike Bowl by LH I just redid the textures and crowd to represent the Georgia Bulldogs. I actually downloaded some jpegs of real grass textures and concrete and incorporated them into the stadium and field. I converted the jpegs to bitmaps and replaced the original field textures that came with the game. I have been just playing around with customizations and I wanted a real grass texture for my stadiums. I know the sideline is missing I have been experimenting with a dirt texture jpeg that I found to try and incorporate it to line up with the sidelines to indicate where the out of bounds spot is. I don't have a problem with that line missing because the sideline is right where the hash marks (yard markers) are. I painted the main field lines using Microsft Paint. Thanks I am glad you all like it. [:)]

Can you upload the grass textures to EA Mods? Do you have them in just on grass style as well? Thanks and it looks great other than the fact that it is Georgia LOL. It's amazing what you can do with this game, but I would have never thought about real grass.

[:)] I have started a thread on EA Mods under the Maximum Football Forum over there and it has the .bmp files of the real grass textures all you have to do is replace the corresponding textures in the models folder of your main Maximum Football directory.

Thanks Flamamarhall. The grass is so much better now that it doesn't look like carpet.

[8D] Yes sir ! If it will help with the mod then I do not mind if you use them. I am glad that I was able to contribute something to the community and hopefully I will be able to continue experimenting and come up with some more work that I can share. I have submitted my grass textures to EA mods for download once approved for those who like the screenshots.Thank you all for the comments and positive support.

if you copy the lines from the original grass texture you will be able to map them over onto your grass texture
to make sure you get them in the right place make a copy of the original and drop the opacity to make it transparent
then map it over your grass texture.

this way you will be able to see exactly were to place your lines, then when your done just delete the transparent layer
and then flatten your image to stamp the lines on your grass

Shoot twice that many years, but it's OK cause even little brother has to have his time. It'll eventually end though.[:D]
