--Trying to download Spwaw complete v7, any other ideas?--

The gamesdomain link from matrix site to download Spwaw complte version 7 is slow as a turtle. .4KB / second on a good feed.

Any other mirror sites or locals? Really interested in diving into this game.

Wait, Montanan...... are you using a 56K?
If you are, you can try Download Accelerator Plus..... got my first copy of SPWAW that way....

Montanan: Get Download Accelerator Plus as per Antartic and go to the Armor site (see Gmenfan site)and get 7.1 (don't forget while your there get updates you'll need). Then call up your friendly Pizza delivery guy and be prepared to give him lots of business, you've got a ~500Meg download (possibly 40 hours). Now if that ain't the bearer of bad news, what is. Besides what else can you do in Montana when the steers are in the meadow ? G~OO~D LUCK. :D

I have a simpler soloution.

Buy on the megacampaigns.

1. 7.0 is on the disk and the stereo sounds. All you need is the 7.1 update and ther oob changes. All that is less that 15 mb.

2. matrix gets money

3. you get a really cool game.

4. Your phone line isnt tied up for 40+ hours.

Hmmm a less stressful solution (why is it always me that has to think out of the box).

Find a kid hooked on Everquest or something with a hi tech computer and massive speed connection with a cd burner and all the fun stuff.

Give him a blank cd and ask him to just download it for you.

Hey as we are all generally old farts here, surely as an adult you can appeal to a teen in some useful way
