Windowed Play

Post by Airdrop01 »

Hi all. I just downloaded this one last night. Is there any way to play in windowed mode (eg, with a -w switch)?

I do this for War in the Pacific (because of the resolution) and would like to do it for FOF. However, I tried the -w switch and it doesn't seem to be working.

Thanks much!!![&o]

I do not believe it is possible with FoF.

I hit the windows button and it takes me to windows. Then I can look at the manual without shutting down the game. That probably is not what you wanted, though.

Just to confirm, there is no windowed mode, and we won't be able to add one because the programming involved would take several weeks. (It's about as major a new feature as has been suggested, programmingwise.) For our next engine we will try to add it, though, since there have been other requests for it.

Thanks! We'll have to see if you can resist "Admiral's Edition" when it comes out, though...
