Most historically ccurate options?

Most historically ccurate options?

What options and settings are most historically accurate, especially with the captain/general option? The captain does not seem to reflect the French moral but the general option seems to give the AI too much advantage if one is playing either side. Thanks

Use Captain with the French movement bonus.
