Musket Range/Reserve Brigades - Chickamauga

Post by lordhoff »

Anyone know why Mr Tiller added a hex to the musket range in Chickamauga (from 2 in the others to 3)?

Also wondering about the history of the two detached brigades of the Reserve Corp. In the historical scenario they come in rather late as reinforcements but in the historical but eight hours longer scenario, they are an at start force. I'm assuming they were recalled overnight then sent back on the second day?

Not important stuff but I am anything if not curious.

The original doco from the first release says that the muskets are range 3 because by that stage of the war most units that had muskets had at least some rifles as well.

Makes sense; that was the same system he used for the mixed gun artillary batteries. Thanks.
