Help!

Hi- Just got a brand new Dell XPS.Installed WITP and several downloads.

Problem-Fatal error 999, reinstall. OK, can do. But, what are the vital downloads-1.04?, 1.06, I.08 or 1.0806? Or can I get by with just one? Reason for asking, when I installed v1.3, it would not complete the installation-error message" CD corrupted". This also happened on 2 other DLs.

First, make sure you deinstall.

Second: what OS are you using.

The correct installation route is


Old version - then 1.804 COMPREHENSIVE - then 1.806 revised.

If you are using VISTA - there can be problems with installation if you are trying to put it anywhere but the default location. See the various VISTA threads (several of them in past couple of months).
