CTD on air dropped mine

I get a CTD when I have a air dropped mine mission (first time I'm doing one in game) & rerun the turn a few times & it happens each time when I run the mining mission, anyone had this problem before or is there something I'm missing? It's Jul43 in my CHS w/ last patch running on my laptop Vista OS a B25 unit in Hengchow mining Hong Kong harbor at 5 hexes away. Any help appreciated.

This is a new one on me... CTD can happen if there is a missing (or bad) plane artwork file - i assume there have been no other problems with the B-25 unit?

No problems encountered so far in the whole game other than this but something came to me over the weekend, what device # is the air dropped mine for the Allies?

i suspect it depends on the mod, although there may be some reserved slots... i have no idea what slot/device number CHS uses (the mod you are playing)... i'd have to open the Editor and check (which i will not do right at the moment.)

It could be the device is in the wrong slot causing a problem, although i've never heard another complaint about this causing a CTD - if it was in a bad slot, it should happen in many (most?) CHS games...

Device #121 - Type 93 Mine - IJN ship laid mine

Device #125 - Mk 12 Mine - US sub laid mine

I've discovered that was my problem, sometime my device 130 has gone missing so I guess for the rest of this game I won't be able to air drop mines [:(], no biggie in this game due to fact I'm kicking the AI's butt & feel the game will soon be over anyway but would've like to see some results of what happens when I did drop mines to see how effective they are. Can I fix it by adding it back into the scen data base for this game or is it too late for this game?

You can't change the database ingame, unless Matrix makes a special patch.
