Sound effects and music

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

Sound effects and music

Post by WarHunter »

I have 3 questions about the Sound effects and music that will be included with MWiF.

Will there be sound effects for various phases of movement, combat, ect.?
What kinds of period Music will be included with the game for our listening pleasure, if any?

Will there be a need for people to help work on this element of the game?

If there are already posts on this topic, please point me to them. [:)]

The thread is called Historical Details, Animation, and Sound. You can find it on the 6th page of the list of threads (last post was July 2007).

If you read all the post starting at the beginning you will see an evolution in my concept of how these aspects of the game will be done. Where I started in my thinking on this is not where I ended up after all the dicussion.

Thanks very much for the directions to the post.

Although i feel the game is most important, in terms of time and effort, the music that ships with the game will add to its flavor more than anything else.

Its all chrome to me really. But nice chrome. [:)]
