B5N Kate replacements

Post by RGIJN »

In a game I have several B5N Kate squadrons shrunk down to 2..5 a/c each. Though I have pulled them back even to Truk they just doesn´t recover, resist to receive planes from pool (well stocked). Tried almost all possible settings. What am I doing wrong?

TIA,
Ralf

R other kate squadrons sucking down the replacements? They should be going somewhere...
To quote from Evans/Peattie`s {Kaigun}
"Mistakes in operations and tactics can be corrected, but
political and strategic mistakes live forever". The authors were refering to Japan but the same could be said of the US misadventure in Iraq

Definitely no. Have two Daitais at full strenght, all others keep staying down on whatever setting. Pool holds plenty numbers too. I´m really puzzled.

Sorry to ask the obvious, but the squadrons aren't fragments are they?

No sweat. They are not... The really baffling thing is, two squadrons do receive a/c when suffering op losses and the other ones do not. What´s the usual settings to permit replacements flowing in?

If you sent their parent carrier home to Tokyo there might be a fragment still onboard. Have a look at the ship in the reinforcement list....

Oopss... You´re right - there are still fragments on those Carriers back at the wharfes. Thus I cannot count on replacements for these particular Daitais naturally [:(]
The murder is out. Thanks Miller!
