Patch 1.10.12?

I'm trying to start a PBEM game, my opponent indicates he is at 1.10.12? I can't find that patch.

That patch is not yet official as far as I know. So you are probably up against a beta tester.[;)]

I'm his opponent. Nigel and I were playing and he wasn't getting a NW boost for taking my cities and I was getting the boost when I retook them. Nigel complained to Eric Babe and Eric sent him the patch.
Now, Jim and I want to play and I told him he needed the patch (since I've downloaded in). I can't send it to him because it's too large, I guess. Would you please send it to him so we can play?

Ahh, that clears up the mystery. GIJim, if you pm me your e-mail address I'll send a copy. Or, if it's easier, I hereby authorize jecunningham to pass along to you the beta-patch that Eric sent him.

The patch we're working on is a SMALL patch for FOF that is intended to solve some glitches, but also will have slightly modified data files. We can't work on a larger FOF patch (i.e., one with new features) until after our work on "Crown of Glory: Emperor's Edition" is done, since we have just one programmer and to do otherwise would delay release of that product. We don't know when this patch would be out -- depends on how long it takes to test it and be sure that the problems are fixed.
