Lehr at Omaha, (BRAVO ZULU)

Post by chief »

M4 Jess:
I finally downloaded and played Lehr@Omaha and had a blast (Just ask the Germans). Results were a Marginal Victory, US 43370 vs Germs 11440, us losses 755 men and 30 AFVs, Germs losses 1742 men and 25 soft vehs, 48 APCs, 106 AFVs. Did great till turn 12, problems till turn 18 then the Lehr was almost history. It was very quiet on the Western front (Omaha) for about 8 more turns then 2 pesky AAs hurt my infantry badly. I'd tell you where but then the next guy would have better than limited intel. (besides I don't like to know what's going on in a scene before playing it).
Many tanks for doing this scenario, looking forward to others of this calibre.

Zero are you asking me about the points ? If so my answer is a ratio of ~4::1 is probably what the designer assigned to this scenario (M4, how about that?) for a MV. All I know is that I cleaned house and left no tanks unturned or infantry unscathed. All vic Xs were in my posession and I was at the East end of the map when it was all over. All preferences were at default and CC off. And away we gooooo.:D :D :D

Crickey. . .if I have 1/4 the points of the enemy I generally think I did very poorly.

I (US) had 4 times the points of the losing team(Germany), they considered it good and so do I. By the designers figures it was a Marginal Victory. I takes em anyways i can.;)

Oh, I thought the Germans had 4 times as many as you.
