I stepped in it a bit with a TB unit in Japan attacking a TF from Russia. I have initieated diplomatic contact with apologies - now we'l see if Carl lets me off of the hook.
Some sub activity want on but nothing major. The allied shipping from the PI has pretty much made it out of my range. There are two ports in the PI (one of them being Manila) so I'm sending LBs to dust them up. There's nothing much @ Manila but the other port might have a few ships too messed up to try and escape... We'l see.
I've got TFs at or headed to Miri and Brunei and mini-kb returning to provide air support. Also, the TF from Japan with the FP has unloaded @ Saigon. I've converted on group of Petes to Rufes and as soon as they are ready I'll send them over ot Miri. That should be fun. [:D]
I'm starting to work on cleaning up China. I have a lot of troops moving about and air units aggressing the Chinese LCUs.

A few more bases fell in the PI. KB is headed to Kwajalein for planes, fuel, pilots, and rice. Carl's ACU tapped a CA and a pair of CL with torpedoes. I'm trying to move them to bases for fix-n-repair.
Otherwise, troops are moving, TFs are loading or moving, and I sent the turn off to Carl so I'm in wait mode...
Carl let me off the hook for that TB ACU that attacked Russian shipping but that's my one and only mulligan in regards to keeping out of a conflict with Russia during the beginning of the war.

So Carl beat up the I-1 sub - he's nunting subs. Brunei suprised me in regards to the size of it's airfield and port - I just don't remember it being 2AF/3P... And what went down @ Khota Bharu is a bummer. Still, things are going well although I must admit that I'm going slow and methodical - no suprises to Carl right now. I'm guna lull him to sleep... sleep... sleep... [:D]
So I'm running the I-1 to a safe port, I moved zekes to Brunei, I'm gunna add more LB to target the Chinese LCUs @ Ningpo, and send the 18th Div @ Alor Star to Georgetown for a little fun. I'm moving some of my LCU to continue to try and roll back Carl's gorilla units, and - did I mention that I now have the CV Yamato? Who-yea!
I've done some replenishing of my LB @ Takao and will be moving some of those units shortly.
I'll do a final check of the turn and send it off to Carl in a few minutes - TTFN.
How much leader replacements have you done?? I have gone through all my Zeros, Nell, Betty, and Oscar to see if they have the right types of leaders. With the amount of PP the Japanese start worth, it might be worth it for you to do soon.

No I haven't done that yet. And since I have all this free time on my hands and no turn from Nemo or GBL... I guess I can at least look up 10 good fighter and LB leaders so I'm prepared... [:)]
