Forge of Freedom

Post by mark2001 »

I just downloaded Forge of Freedom and tried to start the game. It begins to load but it never finishes it just sits at the screen that has a quote by some historical person and stops loading about 3/4 of the way everytime. I would definitely like to play the game since i paid $50 for it. Please help me

Please post your DxDiag report (tm.asp?m=1312401).  Have you tried shutting off any other applications that might be running?

Hi there I had the same problem, when I first installed the game. I have no problems now and I can't specifically remember how I got it going, but I know on more than one occasion I used tab alt delete and that kick started the game. I have no explanation on why it worked, but it did. If you don't give up you certainly won't be disappointed with the game, its great stuff.
