That 150mm gun might be great in an AT role, but so would anyone's 150mm weapon.  It's also huge, hard to move, and easy to spot, not so good for a real AT weapon.

Within the mechanics of WitP, AT guns are purely defensive.

1.  AT gun units have no infantry squads, so they cannot attack (duh).
2.  In order to "bombard" offensively, a unit must have a range of 3 or more, and an anti-soft rating of 5 or more.  AT guns in WitP have an range of 2, and therefore cannot be used offensively.
3.  If the unit is attacked, I presume it's going to shoot back, but given the difficulty in seeing what is actually happening during combat in WitP, they may not do anything at all...  [;)]

The AT guns in WiTP have various combat values. The 37mm was quoted above: "The 37mm AT gun has a rating of 8 agaisnt soft targets, 70 against Armor"
The list in game badly needs an in service date on it. For planes, and guns and even Squads. As for offensive, it's how you look at it I suppoose. They move up front with my infantry. They can't actually assist in pushing the enemy out, but they can help stop the enemy from pushing me out.
