Hi after waiting 3 weeks for my game to arrive now i cant play it.i ihave 512rams and 1800 speed windows xp,i installed game and patch,i tried to install that net thing but my pc said it was incompatable with a previosly installed version of nt.so the game and patch is all installed now what when i hit play it says areial font error or something like that,i think that if that NT thing would of installed it may have worked so how do i install it if my pc wont let it install?COME ON GUYS IVE BEEN DYING TO PLAY FOR 3 WEEKS SOMEONE HELP PLZ.[&:] I must say that if your computer meets all requirments and you pay for the game it sure sucks that you cant just instal and play,thankfully JTCS arrived at the same time and ill enjoy it while i wait for some help.

And make sure you got the standard Arial font properly installed.

thanks alot VIC how do i properly instal a standard areal font? what is that,im not realy a computer guy.

ok VIC that link you gave me is the same NET thing that came with your game.now like i said when i try to instal it it says cannot install because it conflicts with a prvious instaled one,had the same trouble at your link,i need to know why i cant install this NET thing.im dying to play this game,plz tell me what to do the game and patch are installed but wont run,untill i can get this net thing.

Ok VIC i did it all i had to do was uninstal old net thing first.so now i have net but still wont run the only error i get now is the areial FONT error ,but i dont know how to properyly instal an areial font?

Ok this is the error i get when i try to launch the game.and i have the proper NET thing installed now .ERROR=FONT ARIAL DOES NOT SUPPORT STYLE REGULAR, sounds like an easy fix plz tell me how to do it so i can play.

Jep i have seen this issue a few times earlier. Sorry you are having problems. Are you from France by any chance?
 
Other players solved it by reinstalling the fonts from the XP installation CD.
 
Another option might be to download the relevant Arial installer from here:

im from canada and i dont have an xp cd,ill try the link but im gonna tataly lose it if this game wont run.sorry but im allitle pissed after waiting 3 weeks and dreaming about playing this great game,and now it wont run?

I recommend installing from Windows install CD.
 
But the relevant installer on that optional page i gave is the link named Arial.exe.

would you plz look at that link and tell me what to download is it the one that says ARIAL OR ARIAL BLACK or is it something else,i realy dont understand what fonts have to do with a game running,i own 250 war games and none need fonts to work,but what do i know im lost here.

Its because when i released the game i assumed everybody would have these basic fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Arial Black) installed. However as you and a few others prove i was mistaken there. There seems to be a small minority group of Windows users who doesnt. Untill now actually only from France. Sorry for the inconvenience.
