Turn report blazingly fast

Does anyone know how to adjust the time the turn report is displayed?
I'm baffled why it has to be on a timer.

On the Preferences page, set "Message Delay" to whatever amount of time that you think you need to be able to find the pause button for viewing. It is rather annoying that the message does not stay open by default, and have the option to close automatically after some user-defined delay. I set it for 15 seconds, and then train myself to always hit pause as soon as I can, after each message. Of course, this technique doubles the amount of mouse clicks a "proper" UI would have, but it works.

Agree. An option to turn the message timer off would be a nice feature.

I set mine on 8 seconds, more than plenty to read...but most screenies also have a " button, the timer pause, that is.

True. But some people like me want to have full control over what and when to do something. And this way I am forced to klick a pause button before I go afk for a minute. Otherwise I miss some parts of the round. No big deal but I think it should be possible to easily integrated it with a patch.

Press the "e" key to bring up the latest 500 lines of text. I believe this should help greatly.
