HoS' HtH/PBEM capabilities?

Post by Vilhjalmr »

Any word on what the head-to-head/PBEM capabilities of HoS will be like?

The description of HoS on Matrix' site reads as follows:
    "The game features two, branching campaigns. One that is playable from the Soviet side and one from the German point of view. The campaigns are story driven, using graphic novel-type panels to propel the plot.
That seems to suggest the focus of the game is aimed towards solitaire play. I'll likely buy HoS even if you can only play against the AI; however I'd vastly prefer to play it head-to-head via PBEM against a human opponent. Any advance insight into HoS' HtH/PBEM capabilities would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

Punisher, good job noticing that. It's very reassuring to know that will be included. On the downside, it has only greatened my anticipation for this game. Alas.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To give further support towards that, I just noticed an exchange on one of LnL's forums from last year that said the following:
Q: Is there multiplayer in the game? For example, will I be able to take someone on over the Internet in one of the provided scenarios?
A: There will be multiplayer, but only for specific scenarios.
