Corps Commanders?

Post by Toby42 »

I did a search on Corps Commanders and nothing showed up. Are there Corps Commanders in the game, or just Theatre and Army Commanders? I think that Longstreet and Jackson were Corps Commanders.

My extra memory stick didn't show today, so I'll wait until it does to buy. I think!!!

There is an optional rule for adding Corps Commanders.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to wait until I get the game to see how things flow....

Actually in the basic game there are many commanders other than the TCs and ACs, and they are called Unit Commanders. They represent Corps and independent Division commanders. Both sides will have around 60-120 leaders on the board at any one time. The optional Corps Sub-Commander rule allows leaders to be attached to those leaders that are senior enough to be Corps commanders. This simulates having division commanders attached to Corps. When using this rule, both sides will have more leaders on the map at any one time.
