No Sound or Background music

Hello, I just installed my game today and while I do hear the drum rolls when the game first starts up, I dont hear anything, once I get to the main menu or when I actually start a scnerio. I have not changed any options. Music and sound are both checkmarked. I assume I should be hearing something? Thanks for any help. kirk

You should as long as you don't have 0's in the preference screen for volume. Please post your dxdiag report for your system.

On the main menu, press the preferences button. Once in a game, press the p key.

However, you responding to someone who apparently isnt all there. Im in the wrong game forum. I need to be in the AGEOD game forum. So now I feel like an idiot:). Anyhow, I think I got everything working in THAT game. Im sure Ill get Gary Grigsbys game before the year is out though. kirk
