Carrier Force

Post by SuluSea »

Although it may be a while, when it hits the shelves do you view yourself making the switch or taking a wait and see approach. From the few tidbits of info we recieved it sounds like its going to be a nice upgrade over what we have in UV. I'll be making a purchase of Carrier Force the minute I see its available. [:)]

From what I understand, you can play CF in the old UV mode, so it's a no-lose situation, esp. if it includes some WitP improvements.

If the 15 minute combat mode can be turned off and WITP like controls are available then it's PBEM friendly and attractive to me.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Agreed.

If the tactical battles side of it is not so great or get too tedious I just turn them off. As Joe said, I don´t see a bad side to it either and see no reason to wait on the decision to purchase.

I'm waiting awhile.

I need some evidence that this is not the same POS UV turned out to be.

I am retired from any and all careers. At least my comments, like yours, have the merit of being succinct. "Brevity is the soul of wit." Just ask Oscar Wilde. Friederich Nietsche. Eric Blair. "Outhouse," on the other hand, "Is the hole of sh1t."

Then you are one of the lucky ones.

At least my comments, like yours, have the merit of being succinct. "Brevity is the soul of wit." Just ask Oscar Wilde. Friederich Nietsche. Eric Blair. "Outhouse," on the other hand, "Is the hole of sh1t."

I have no idea what that means.
