RHS Carrier Air Group Options (Reminder)

Long ago - to address possible issues with carrier air unit resizing - we introduced land based air groups which are truly carrier capable and carrier qualified. This should not be needed - we also worked to make air groups "resize to the same value" in many instances - by technical messing with carrier capacity. But just in case - and for other reasons - you have land based units you can put on carriers. [This WAS historical practice and on both sides to some degree - as time passed. So the other reasons are operational considerations really possible IRL.]

We have found a few carriers on the Japanese side have missing or wrong air groups - later in the war. These escort vessels may use other air groups - either from damaged carriers - or land based units described above - if desired. In some cases Allied carriers have no air groups - because they did not - but the same thing applies to them.

The technical trick I used is two fold:

create a carrier to assign air units to
date set it to after the game is over

then assign the air units to the carrier AND give them a DATE of appearence

they appear at the default location (Tokyo or San Francisco) on that date
