Battle file bug part 2

I emailed you the files from a game that is stuck becaus eof the battle file bug as well. It is the French land phase, but the game is showing him in view mode because it thinks there is a battle waiting to happen.

I got your stuff. It was on my home PC as opposed to my laptop and I've been remote since Thursday. I'll try and look at it this morning.

I seem to have the same bug in my pbm game.

France attacked me(Austria) in early land phase at Metz. France did not need to send a new result file to me after the battle ended. (His battlefile are autodelted when he ends his phase, so nothing to send)
But i was able to continue by loading French pbm land combat phase.

All continued fine, till after Spain land, witch was run by AI, since the player was not able to.

Now my Austria savegame tells me again its awaiting Metz battlefile again.
I did delete my battlefile once i got past the French land combat phase.

I have a tiny hope that French diplomacy pbm can be loaded, and the game stops asking me. But only time will tell that.

Boerwar in your game did host have to let Ai run someones move ?

Marshall i will send you my savegame if this continues when i load French Diplomacy.

I don't recall letting the AI play any turns in the affected game. I went back through my old email and couldn't find any email about that either. I have skipped PR/AU naval phases, but that is about it. I was getting the same indications you are for a while (game indicates it needs a battle file, but clears by clicking OK), but the game always let me play on until we got to this French land phase.

The only new development was that I created a backup. It looks to me that by doing so I propagated the minor bug I was experiencing to everyone else. Just a guess.

No problem, I knew you were at Origins, just wanted to make sure my emails didn't get flushed in an in-box purge upon your return. The natives are getting restless.
